Business Issues / Legal Issues / Re: Ringtone site copyright issues

Some sites make a distinction between ringtones sent by sms and keypress ringtones. They believe sent ringtones incur copyright fees because it is an actual transmission over the air of a melody while keypress codes are only a set of instructions on how to input the melody and thus, do not incur fees.
To comply with the principles of copyright, use public domain melodies as your ringtones or, if you prefer using pop music, make sure that the site does pay copyright fees to the relevant copyright holders.

Business Issues / Payment Processing / Re: Where can i get VCC!

Everyone out here is earning money and most of them are getting their hard earned money through paypal. Now what if you can’t withdraw that money with an unverified account coz it limits transactions to 100$? Here’s a solution. I am selling VCC at never before prices. One VCC costs you just 10$. The advantages are:
*No limits on withdrawal of money from paypal(it is 100$ in case of unverified account). *Hassle free withdrawal and transactions. *No limits on withdrawal for life time. *Fast service from our side. *Already contains 2$ in it.

Search Engines / Google / Google Analytics and Webmaster
|

Comparing the two services, Google Analytics and Webmaster.
Google analytics involves putting a javascript code in every page you want tracked. It doesn't work if people turn off javascripts coming from google-analytics. com. Google loads a much bigger chunk of javascript into the page -- take a look, eg. with Firefox's Firebug tool. It's interesting.
Analytics is more for people who (and companies that) are trying to promote their site in various ways, and the Google paid services are pushed.
Google webmaster requires posting just one HTML page on your site, to verify that you can upload pages to the site. Then it provides the same sort of information you could get using Google advanced searches (e. g. , outside links to pages on your site), but in a much more compact way with various types of info provided.
I find them both worthwhile, but I had them confused for a few days. I had joined each at different times, and wondered why each had a different set of sites. . . (I found iWebtalk in a Google search to see what comparisons others make between the two services, and found a closed thread here that didn't really answer the question. )

Search Engines / Google / Google PR Toolbar export
|
on: November 21, 2007, 11:18:07 AM

As we all know, Google PR export update happened some weeks ago. What concerns me is, that at hxxp: www. seocompany. ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list. html there is still no update shown. As this is a very trustful source I think, I don't know the reason for that. Do you think that they didn't just update their list or is there another reason for that?

Search Engines / Google / An Open Letter to Google

Hopefully somebody in the Googleplex would read this hxxp: www. dnhour. com/story. php?title=An_Open_Letter_to_Google# and starts to do something about it. Obviously, a lot of people are dissatisfied with Google and they are moving their business elsewhere (Microsoft & Yahoo). It seems that this 'open letter' trend is gaininig momentum. .
